Believe - Real Salt Lake
One of the guys from Rancid wrote "Believe" -- the theme song for Real Salt Lake. The lyrics are very similar to dialogue in Steve Coogan's "The Trip." WE LEAVE AT DAYBREAK TO WAGE WAR AGAINST FC DALLAS!
Sons of the Susquehenna
Here are the Sons of the Susquehenna, a supporters group for the USL's Harrisburg City Islanders, as they heckle a rival goalkeeper and also talk about which area Kohl's is the best place to buy green cargo shorts.
The Harrisburg City Islanders have one of the most ridiculous names in American sports. It's not the "City Islanders" that is the problem -- their stadium (as it were) is located on City Island, a giant park/recreation complex. It's that, somehow, the team isn't called FC Harrisburg City Islanders United. WHAT GIVES?
Detroit City FC - Northern Guard Supporters
This is Sgt. Scary, the leader of Detroit City FC. Who are Detroit City FC? They are a club in the NPSL, which is a semi-professional soccer league. They play at a high school stadium. However, DCFC's fans (especially the Northern Guard Supporters) still "march" from what looks like an unpaved parking lot to the temporary set of bleachers they (re: grown ups) use to play Human Tetris for a few hours. Sgt. Scary is their leader. One question for him: Where does one get custom made sidecar helmets made in the Detroit area?
